If you do not have property to keep your horse at you can have it boarded. There are many places that will board your horse for you. Some of them even offer training and lessons with your horse, and additional storage units for you to keep your kit. If you do not have time to go out and see your horse daily the boarding place may take care of a lot of the grooming for you. If you have never taken care of a horse there are a few things you will need to learn. Washing and brushing a horse is fairly simple to do. If you want you can get in to braiding or knotting the horse’s mane. When showing horses a lot of times people will braid, knot, or even put a wrap on the horses tail. You will find owning a horse will bring you a lot of enjoyment. It is great to be able to go riding whenever you would like to. It is even better to have your own horse to ride and get to know.
