If you spend any time around the equine community lately you will find that everyone seems to be talking about third party liability insurance lately, and I keep getting asked why. The reason actually has to do with the House of Lords passing the Animal Act in regard to horses, meaning any owner will be liable for the damages that a horse he owns or is responsible for causes, even if there was no negligence. This decision is leading to the natural incline of premiums concerning equine liability cover, so there is no point in putting it off because you may find yourself even more out of pocket then you would have otherwise been.
If you are looking for a recommendation for horse insurance, then I would undoubtedly say Stoneways Insurance. I have not yet been able to find a more trusted supplier with comparable premiums, and knowing lots of people who are on their books, I have not yet encountered a claims issue.
